Inspired by the rules for living from the fake gangster of the YouTube channel Grim.Hustle, I thought I'd share some of my own rules. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy Grim.Hustle and agree with a lot of what he says. As I've always told my sons, any True Hippie can kick any OG butt any day of the week.
I'm not a Deadhead, but I love this photo of them on the stoop of their apartment building in the Haight-Ashbury in 1966. I've always thought it hilarious that Pigpen is holding a rifle.

I witnessed a stranger's kindness to another stranger the other night in a Safeway parking lot. It was lovely to see.

It's been over four years since I posted a version of this song. I listened to the album the other night for the first time in a year or more. Inasmuch that I don't like the sound most of my vocals—I paid a guy a lot of money to mix the album who did not know how to mix vocals (live and learn!)—the arrangements stand up. They are amazing, I don't mind saying. Available on iTunes, Pandora, Spotify, and Bandcamp, and everywhere!

Someone wrote and asked what a roué is. A French term, a roué is many things, mostly bad. But an accomplished roué? That's another story.

I'm halfway through this thoughtful and detailed biography of Candida Royalle, aka Candice Vadala, writer, singer, porn star, porn director. A renaissance woman gone far to soon.

Former frontman of Wall of Voodoo is 70 today, Yikes! A singular talent, super intelligent, great songwriter. Happy Birthday, Stan!
